Advertising Tax #AdTax
For three years now, a growing number of states have been trying to leverage the relationships that online retailers have with in-state affiliate marketers to establish "nexus". If they can do this, it will force these retailers to collect sales tax from residents of that state as if they had a physical presence there.
But they cannot. All the retailers have to do is fire their affiliates. Which is exactly what they've been doing in state after state.
The tides are turning?

Great post by Lisa Picarille. There are definitely parallels between Food Revolution and opposing the Advertising Tax. I suppose anyone trying to work against strong-headed, uninformed politicians feels this way.
